Looking for a convenient spot to dink in DC? The New York Avenue Recreation Center, also known as the Dunbar Recreation Center, might be your next go-to. This community hub has an outdoor field and a multi-purpose room, giving you options for activities. While we only know of one outdoor court right now, the location is super accessible near the New York Avenue Metro Station. Open bright and early at 6 AM and staying open until 9 PM, seven days a week, you can squeeze in a game almost anytime. Whether you're a morning person or prefer an evening rally, check out the New York Avenue Recreation Center for some pickleball in the heart of the city!
